ABOUT MY CONTRIBUTION
This was a big change for me as I was switching from a general game designer role in a small tight-knit studio to a full-time UX designer role in the biggest game studio in the world.
I learned the tools very quickly and immediately got to work on key missing features such as various HUD elements, utilities such as interaction wheels, player comms, macro & micro sign and feedback matrices. The team being surprisingly very agile, I was happy to provide extra implementation support for UI elements which was a great way for me to learn dependencies, data pipelines and the general strengths and weaknesses of our tech. I'll write more about this project when I can.
