Jotun is a hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology. In Jotun, you play Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla. Impress the Gods! PC-PS4-XBONE
ABOUT MY CONTRIBUTION
This was my first job out of game design school and joined the team as Quality Assurance. Accounting for the build's issues, functionality, performance, as well as maintaining a healthy and up to date documentation on bug reports and fixes. It was a very straightforward project which went through a closed alpha and beta (our creative director William initiated Steam build key waves and also gave some at gaming events like PAX) which was very useful for feedback and optimization.
Comfortable on Unity, I also partook directly in bug fixing for issues like level collisions, character animation collisions, world animations, puzzle scripting, and more. Given the ease I had shown, my responsibilities expanded towards doing basic level design set-up for the game's last region, implementing tutorial and in-game animation sequences when the player acquires a new ability, as well as some animation and VFX work as I wanted some areas of the game to feel particularly special.
